WE HATCHED PAINTED LADY
BUTTERFLIES
We learned about the amazing metamorphosis of the butterfly. The children wrote about
each stage in their butterfly journals. After the butterflies hatched we released them.
We read the following poem as we released our butterflies.
Walk, run, jump, fly,
Today we set you free,
You're going out into this great big world,
Thank you for spending some time with me.
