| 7:55 - Morning Meeting - Children get organized and go to their places at the tables. We go over our schedule for the day. Attendance is taken and lunch choices are tallied. 8:05 - Breakfast/Math Enrichment/Reinforment/Self-selected reading when finished with breakfast. 8:30 - Calendar/Weather/Songs/Poems 8:45 - Quiet Reading/One-On-One Reading Conferences 9:00 - Recess 9:15 - Phonics/Word Wall 9:30 - 10:30- Reading Groups - Word Work/Guided reading Reading Stations: *Play reading/word games *Write words of the week using magnetic letters or stamps *Read from poetry folders *Spell words of the week or make words using letter tiles on the overhead *Practice handwriting *Partner reading 10:00 - Computer Lab/Wednesdays 10:30- Math Stations 11:05 - Lunch/Recess 11:45 - Shared Reading 12:00 - Math 1:00 - Writing Workshop 1:30 - Centers - Science/Social Studies Themes 1:45 - Recess 2:05 - Specials/P.E./Art/Music/Library/Health 3:05 - Dismissal HOME |
