How do we know about weather? How do we find about weather around us and in other cities across America? Weather Watcher's Project Questions to answer: • What is the current/high/low temperature in Brush Colorado? • What is the current/ high/low temperature in the city you chose? • Is it hotter or colder in Brush than in the city you chose? • What type of clothing should you wear today and what types of activities would you be able to do in Brush and in the city you chose? Your Task: 1. With your partner decide on a city in the United States for tracking the weather for five days. 2. Go to the online weather site to find the temperatures. 3. Record the temperatures in Brush and your chosen city for five days in a Kidpix weather chart. 4. Write and draw a picture in your Kidpix weather chart describing the weather. 5. At the end of the five days, enter into the online graph maker the number of Sunny, Windy, Snowy, Rainy, and Cloudy days Brush had and the city you chose. 6. With your partner look at the graph and discuss the results of the weather comparisons. Write three or four sentences comparing the weather in Brush to the city you chose.
