| Hi, I have been teaching at Thomson Primary for the past 18 years. I am married and have 3 grown children. I also have 5 precious grandchildren. I graduated from Northeastern Junior College with an Associate of Arts Degree and from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science. I also received a Professional Elementary Teacher License. I have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Design with a minor in Technology. |
| I chose teaching because children have always been a part of my life and they are important to me. All children have potential and the ability to learn , and I want to be a part of that learning. I get a sense of fulfillment when I see a child's eyes light up after making a discovery. I feel good when children feel confident and motivated. By teaching I can motivate, influence, encourage, and help children to succeed in life. Teaching comes naturally, and I couldn't have chosen a better profession. |
